THE SAMPLER
COLLECTION 2
- Cross Stitch
The Four Seasons Samplers The Four Season Samplers below are stitched on
32ct. Belfast Linen in Light Mocha over 2 threads. Each design features 1 or 2 decorative
stitches which are fully diagramed. The threads showcased are Needle Necessities overdyes
and DMC floss. Most can be stitched in under 20 hours. These are good projects if you wish
to expand your repertoire of stitches.

falling leaves of Autumn
This was the first Sampler in the series. I kept taking
versions of it to my Guild Meetings. When the other stitchers got excited about it, I knew
it was ready to go! Stitches used are Long Arm Cross, Oblong Cross with Back Stitch, Cross
Stitch and Back Stitch.
Design area is 90 st. x 200 st.

rosy blooms of Summer
The colors of this Sampler are the colors of the
"volunteer" Touch-me-nots which fill our side yard every year. They are one of
my favorite flowers, no less treasured because we did not plant them. Stitches used are
Upright Rice Stitch and Cross Stitch.
Design area is 90 st. x 200 st
